Privacy Policy
This policy is a working draft. The registered entity, governing jurisdiction and processor list below still need to be confirmed and reviewed by a qualified adviser before launch.
Who we are
GenW Studio (“we”, “us”) is a web design and development studio based in Bengaluru. You can reach us about anything in this policy at inquire@genwstudio.com.
What we collect
We keep this deliberately small. We only collect information you hand us or that our host records automatically in order to serve the site.
- What you send us. If you book a call or email us, we receive your name, email address, company URL, budget range and timeline — the fields on the booking form — plus anything else you choose to write.
- Technical logs. Our host records standard request data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page and the pages you viewed. This is ordinary server logging, not a profile.
- Nothing sensitive. We do not ask for, want, or knowingly store payment card numbers, government identifiers or any special-category personal data through this website.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not run advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics profiling. Any cookie we do set is strictly necessary to make the site work. We do not sell or share browsing data with advertising networks.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to prepare and deliver work you have asked for, to keep the site secure and functioning, and to meet our own legal and accounting obligations. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not send bulk email you did not ask for.
Who else touches it
We use a small number of service providers to run the studio. They process data only on our instructions:
- Vercel — Hosting and request logs.
- Cal.com — Booking calls you schedule with us.
We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we will not hand it over except where the law genuinely requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Project records are kept for as long as we need them for contractual, tax and accounting purposes. Server logs rotate on our host’s ordinary schedule. Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we are legally required to keep them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the UK and EEA, and under comparable laws elsewhere — you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to inquire@genwstudio.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to client material is limited to the people working on it. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not claim otherwise; if a breach ever affected your data we would tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
